Dr. Lie specializes in hemorrhoid artery embolization (HAE), a minimally invasive procedure that effectively treats hemorrhoids by cutting off the blood supply to the affected area. During the procedure, a small catheter is inserted into the arteries that supply blood to the hemorrhoids. Through the catheter, tiny particles or coils are injected into the arteries, blocking the blood flow. As a result, the hemorrhoids shrink and eventually disappear.
Georgia Hemorrhoid Institute offers effective hemorrhoid treatment solutions that yield exceptional outcomes for a diverse patient population. Please contact our helpful representatives today at 678-915-2000 if you think HAE treatment could be right for you.
