Dr. Kevin Lie
Meet Dr. Kevin T. Lie, a renowned double board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist at Georgia Hemorrhoid Institute. With 15+ years of experience and degrees from Case Western Reserve University and Flinders School of Medicine, Dr. Lie's expertise is unmatched.

Michaela Allen, PA-C
Michaela Allen, PA-C is a South Carolina native with a love for life-long learning. She received her Bachelor of Science in exercise and sports science at Coastal Carolina University and very briefly, attended South Carolina State University for post-baccalaureate benefit, before becoming a Georgia peach and earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the illustrious Morehouse School of Medicine in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently a Doctor of Medical Science student at Shenandoah University in which she is eager to expand her skills in leadership, clinical research, and education.
Although Michaela has a background in urgent care medicine, she has a special passion for the care and management of vascular diseases. Her areas of expertise are very diverse, including but not limited to venous disease, peripheral arterial disease, uterine fibroids, benign prostatic hyperplasia, hemorrhoids, and knee osteoarthritis. Michaela also has a deeply rooted love for women’s health and strives to improve healthcare literacy and standards regarding patient advocacy.
She takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and building long-lasting relationships with her patients and leading the creation of health equity. Her desire to apply innovative medicine through technological advances speaks volumes to her character.
Residing in South Atlanta, Michaela prioritizes family time, identifying as a wife and a girl mom. Outside of work she enjoys HIIT and cycling group fitness classes, traveling the world, and sometimes (depending on the year) cheering for her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Alyssa Patel, Physician Assistant
Meet Alyssa, a dedicated healthcare professional with a heart for patient well-being. Originally hailing from Jacksonville but firmly rooted in Georgia, Alyssa obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia before achieving her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating summa cum laude from Lincoln Memorial University School of Medical Science.
With a background in urgent care and emergency medicine, Alyssa has found her passion in managing vascular treatments, including hemorrhoid artery embolization. She takes great pride in providing exceptional care to her patients, ensuring their comfort and health.
When she's not in the clinic, Alyssa resides in West Midtown with her husband, indulging in quality time with loved ones and exploring the culinary delights of the city. An avid traveler and Georgia Bulldogs fan, Alyssa's fondest memories include trips to Egypt with her aunt and a romantic three-week journey through Italy with her husband.
