Dr. Sachin Sheth
Sachin Sheth, M.D., RPVI is an interventional radiologist with over 10 years of diverse experience in the field. He has specialized in peripheral vascular disease, vein disease, interventional oncology, and hemorrhoid treatment. Dr. Sheth combines his broad clinical knowledge and diverse experience with a passion for patient-centered care.
Dr. Sheth’s hometown is Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated at the top of his class from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Business Information Systems.
After working for MicroStrategy in Washington, D.C., Dr. Sheth decided to pursue a career in medicine. He earned his M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed an internal medicine internship.
Dr. Sheth went on to study at the highly regarded Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
He was honored with a seat on the Boston University School of Medicine Admissions Committee.
Dr. Sheth is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.
Dr. Sheth is dedicated to ongoing learning and advancing medical knowledge. Dr. Sheth has done research related to stroke and endovascular repair and published detailed papers on Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology topics.
He is committed to ensuring his patients receive the latest in hemorrhoid treatment and is experienced in providing hemorrhoid artery embolization (HAE). This minimally invasive, innovative procedure shrinks and ultimately eliminates hemorrhoids, relieving uncomfortable symptoms.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Sheth enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his hobbies, which include biking, surfing, snowboarding, kitesurfing, and rooting for his favorite teams, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, and the UNC Tar Heels.
